March 18, 2020

Little did we know back in the Fall of 2019 when we decided on our theme for the 2020 summer camping season (UNSEEN) that we as a world would be faced with an "unseen" virus called COVID-19.  Yet so much of our lives deal daily with the unseen, the invisible. Those of us with a faith journey know that at times like this, it is important to be reminded of what is eternal...of where we find hope.

The apostle Paul said, “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 NIV

So we work and plan for the physical situation we find ourselves in.  We are installing hand sanitizing stations, upgrading our paper towel and soap dispensers, and working on air purification...taking precautions...but all the while we keep our eyes on Jesus.

And we pray. Daily. May God use this situation to His glory.  And we ask Him to use us to accomplish that very thing.

And, yes, we pray and plan to have camp this summer.  So get your campers signed up. Registrations continue to come in. Weeks of camp are filling up. www.thearkcm.org

We are praying for peace and health. We look forward with hope to seeing you this summer.
