2-20-23 – Monday
Pamie walked the hallway 3 times today. She is really pushing knowing that will get her intestines working. The fluoroscope with contrast was today and she had to move and stand and drink a lot of contrast. It was a slow, laborious process and left her really tired. At 4 pm the kids left with no word from the doctor on what was next. Pamie was exhausted and took a short nap shifting to her side to relieve pressure points from sitting so much.
Around 7 pm the doctor came in and said the contrast showed movement past the surgery sight and there was no leakage. We are praising Jesus. The doctor removed the NG tube in a matter of 2 seconds. He said she could have a very small amount of ice chips. Please ask that God get the stomach and intestinal tract working again.
Looking at maybe going home Friday. Thanks for praying.
