Description:
“Exploration” is defined as the investigation of unknown regions, and that is exactly our goal for Exploration Day Camp! Designed for 4th - 6th grade campers who are ready to explore what summer camp is all about but are not ready to take the leap and stay overnight. Experience all the activities that the camp has to offer. We'll base camp in the Jungle Huts, where we will spend time in the woods, around the campfire, learning about the Bible, singing worship, and cooking dinner! We will do fun activities like swimming, canoes, archery, and high rope challenges each day. We will also hear from our summer missionaries about what's happening in their country.
Sample Schedule:
9:00 a.m. - Check-In
9:15 a.m. - Bible Teaching and Devotions
10:00 a.m. - Activity
11:00 a.m. - Swimming
12:30 p.m. - Lunch in Cafeteria
1:00 p.m. - Missions
2:00 p.m. - Activity
5:00 p.m. - Prepare Dinner
6:30 p.m. - Campfire Worship
7:00 p.m. - Check-Out
Basic “Packing” List:
- Water bottle
- Swimsuit and towel
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- Money for missions and camp store if desired
- If desired, a small backpack/bag to carry everything in
- Please dress for the weather
