03-19-23 – Sunday
We met with Dr. Mahendran on Wednesday. We have looked at many different options for cancer treatment at this stage. When it was all said and done Pamie and I agreed that this was where we were supposed to be. Chemo will start Wednesday and be done every two weeks for 12 weeks. We will basically be limited by how she feels and if the blood work reveals her immune system is compromised. So, we hope to do life somewhat normally but are not holding our breath. We also are studying natural means to boost her immune system to recover her health faster.
We also ask you to pray for my Mama. Her house is full of mold. Remediation experts directed us to get rid of almost everything. We are gutting the house down to the studs and concrete walls. Beth and Josh have been amazing and we are so thankful for them. They and their kids have been working like crazy to get it cleared out and ready for the mold remediation company. The company will come and do the treatment to kill the mold in the walls, ceiling, and floors. Mai is with my brother this week until Thursday night. We are moving her into our house at the camp where she will live for a while. Future planning requires much discernment.
We also ask you to please pray for THE ARK. Camp season is almost upon us and we are in the middle of a remodel of the pool/pool house as well as many other projects. Pray for the camp staff, volunteers, summer staff, and the campers... that God would change lives and bring a record number of young people to Himself.
