Camp Session Specific Information for Check-in Protocols

Summer 2021 Check-In and Out Times and Procedures

Check-in and out times for most overnight camp sessions are between 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Day Camps most often run from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. (Note: Horse Day Camps end at 7pm on Thursdays.) 

Overnight Camps Check-In Information

ALL Sessions:

  • Check-in will be in the West Parking lot of the Conference Center at the times listed above. 
  • Before Arrival - We are requiring a temperature check at check-in. Please take your child’s temperature and then take a picture of the thermometer to show to a staff member upon arrival. If you do not have access to a thermometer please contact us so we can make other accommodations.  
  • When you arrive at THE ARK, remain in your vehicle.  
  • A staff member will direct you where to park based on the camp session your student is attending. 
  • Please wait in your vehicle until a staff member greets you and begins the medical screening.   
  • For the health screening, you will be asked a series of questions similar to those below. Once those have been answered we will give further instructions on what to do. Answers to these questions may impact if your child is allowed to stay.

Medication Information:

  • The student nurses will be receiving medication at check-in. We are only accepting prescription medication and uncommon over the counter medications this year.
  • Please put ALL medications in their original containers into a Ziploc bag with your student's name on it. Have it available in your vehicle during check-in.   

Camper Health Questions:

  • Have you or anyone in your household had a fever of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, a cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing in the last 14 days?
  • Have you had contact with someone who has COVID-19 or is suspected of having COVID-19 in the last two weeks?
  • Are you taking any immunosuppressive medications?
  • Do you have any underlying health issues that put you in the high-risk category for COVID-19?
  • Did you pack a facial covering for your student?
Day Camp Check-in Info

Check-in for Horse Day Camps is at 9 am each day.

  • Check in will be in the West Parking lot of the Conference Center at 9 am each day.   
  • Before Arrival - We are requiring a temperature check at the beginning of everyday. Please take your child’s temperature and then take a picture of the thermometer to show to a staff member upon arrival. If you do not have access to a thermometer please contact us so we can make accommodations.  
  • When you arrive at THE ARK remain in your vehicle.  
  • A staff member will direct you where to park based on the camp session your student is attending. 
  • Only your student/s attending the day camp should get out of the vehicle.    
  • You will be asked a series of questions similar to those below. Once those have been answered we will give further instructions on where to go. Answers to these questions may impact if your child is allowed to stay.

Daily Camper Health Questions:

  • Have you or anyone in your household had a fever of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, a cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing in the last 14 days?
