Clay Class: Grades 3-8
Clay Classes at THE ARK are designed with homeschool families in mind. Join us on the FIRST AND THIRD THURSDAYS in October through December as we explore and create art through using clay. Projects and topics will include both hand-building pieces as well as wheel throwing experiences.

WHO: Homeschooled Students in 3rd - 8th Grade
WHEN: The FIRST AND THIRD THURSDAYS of each month from October 1 - December 17 / 12:30 - 2:30
WHAT: Each session we will explore and create clay projects that have been developed and will be led by our Director of Programming, Andrew, who taught science and art for 25 years and has a Master’s Degree in Education in Natural Science and Environmental Education. He will be joined by local artists and art instructors as well. Topics and projects will include coil pots, pinch pots, wheel throwing, and glazing. Students will leave the class with a few art pieces that they have created throughout the course.
HOW MUCH: $100 per student for entire course of 6 sessions
